Whether you are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed, you can use your NDIS funding to purchase Borne Clothing.

Adaptive clothing is listed under the NDIS Supports List as an approved item under Assistive Products for Personal Care and Safety.

Please see the steps below for how to receive an invoice from us.

We understand the NDIS can sometimes feel tricky to navigate (we’ve been in the sector long before NDIS began!). That’s why we’ve written a simple blog to explain it further.

How to Use Your Funding to Purchase Borne Clothing

Step 1: Check Your Funding Type

Your NDIS plan may include funding for adaptive clothing under:

  • Consumables (Low-Cost Assistive Technology – Clothing & Shoes)

  • Core Supports (Daily Living)

  • Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living)

If you’re unsure, speak with your Local Area Coordinator, Plan Manager, or NDIS Support Coordinator.

Step 2: Choose Your Borne Clothing

Browse our range pick the styles and colours that best suit your needs.

Step 3: Make Your Purchase

How you order depends on how your plan is managed:

  • Self-Managed: Order directly through our website. Pay upfront and claim your reimbursement through NDIS.

  • Plan-Managed: Request an invoice from us and forward it to your Plan Manager for payment.

Step 4: Submit Your Claim

If you’re self-managed, simply upload your invoice via the myplace portal (NDIS website or app).
