Borne Clothing will close down in February 2025 - until then, we're offering a final 50% off all our stock. Shop the sale here.

Since we sold our first shirt (over 5 years ago!), we've become quite attached to our little social enterprise, and we hold a huge deal of gratitude to the customers, friends, and family who have supported our mission.

The decision to close down has not been easy to make. Growing this business from the ground up has been a privilege, and it has also been the backdrop to growth in our own lives: Dan is now a father and continues to make waves in Australia's design scene; Tim is now a local in Nairobi, supporting access to high quality kidney care in East Africa; Pat can be found either engineering drones or renovating his van for East coast road trips; and Bal is back in London, working to tackle childhood lead poisoning.

We started this journey because of malaria, a disease that still devastates communities around the world. The latest report from the World Health Organization indicates that malaria claimed 597,000 lives in 2023, many of them children.

However, there is hope. With the continued rollout of interventions, the number of malaria-free countries is growing. This is vital progress that requires ongoing support.

Our final donation will be made in the coming months, and we’ll keep you updated here and via our mailing list.

Thank you all, once again, for supporting our work. We wish you many mozzie-free days ahead!

We love you more than mozzies do,

Tim, Bal, Pat, and Dan
